This comes up much more often that you would think. People telling me that 1. They are 'too old' to start their longevity trek, or 2. They are 'too young' to start their longevity trek.
When you take a step back and analyze both of these answers, we have to wonder why both groups think that their time on the planet has automatically excluded them from emphasizing a longevity path for themselves.
Let's take number 1 first, the group who thought they were 'too old'. My first question to them is: How long do you have left on this planet? The answer is ALWAYS 'well, I don't know'. It is ALWAYS the answer. If you don't know how long you have here amongst your friends, your family, your pets, then why would you not want to take one, two, or even three steps to either increase your time, or increase your pleasure/fun/purpose? Just imagine this - what if you had 25 or 30 years to go? Just what if you did? So the second question has got to be asked, "Since you don't know just how long you have, what could you do to keep that fire lit for more pleasure/fun and purpose?" Just as with any age, as with every age, it is impossible to take ALL of the steps, but you can take one, or two, or three. You CAN put those into play, be it better fuel, more and better sleep/rest, more and better functional motion, having better posture, or more and better talks with those you love.
Since we don't have a crystal ball, let's just pretend that we have a bunch more to go.
And with number 2, since when did being 'too young' make you ineligible to make plans for your future? Are you too young to plan your finances? Are you too young to plan your family, housing, employment, or vacations? No, No. No. No. No. And No. You plan ALL of those out, and you do that for years, and decades. So why would you not want to be even better for more years so you CAN be with and enjoy your family more, have that great house, make substantial upward moves in employment, have memory filled vacations, AND spend less money in retirement on health care costs?
Yeah, I don't know either. But you can.
One of the fastest growing groups that are asking me questions and starting to follow me and Empire Longevity are those people in their 40s and 50s. WHY? They are past the living in my parents house times and want more from themselves in the future. I could do a quick hour video for you on the decade differences in future vision, but the 40 - 50 year olds are now taking a deep look at those years that they never thought would come. Cause they were 'too young', and yet HERE THEY ARE.
The same can be said about when is the best time to plant a tree to enjoy it, and the answer is '20 years ago'. The second best answer is TODAY. So start today.
If you don't know WHERE to start or HOW to start, feel free to message and let's get you on your first steps to MORE BETTER YEARS.
I look forward to helping you.
Sincerely,
-Dr. Otto Janke, Chief Pilot
